My objective for the next 4 days is to get to Milngavie and the start of the West Highland Way.
I will be following the old main A74. This has been downgrade to a quiet b road since they built the M74.
Today's destination is the Red House in Newton Wamphray. I have requested an evening meal and they have invited me to join them.
This is a Scottish tradition where you become part of the family.....a lovely way of meeting people.
