Not far to go

It's the road sign before the Cromarty Firth Bridge....first mention of the promised land.

The rain and wind got worse as the day went on.

Pleased with my leg, for the last 10 miles I abandoned my stick...I needed both hands to hold onto the brolly!

I can't imagine walking without a brolly, it is my most important item.

  2. Hi Bob, I see the road sign says Wick 109 miles, don't be tempted to detour as I did because I found the wonderful distillery of Old Poultney, and It's been costing me a fortune ever since. Played with Norman today and he's pleased that whenever you feel the need he's happy for you to have another wee dram on him. Everybody is really gunning for you to finish should be a great party in the club next week. Happy walking BarryJ.
