What a scorcher, the hottest day of my walk...so far!
Sue did well but struggled today. She has caught a cold, big climbs, hot day and a fair mileage.
It is probably a 20 plus day tomorrow so we have decided that it will be for the best if she gets the bus to Inverness tomorrow.
B&B is really nice...landlady is a bit grumpy.
Vicky.....there are four 150 foot Soquoia's in the front garden...majestic.
Poor Sue, hope she feels better tomorrow. The views look fantastic lucky you. Keep going both the end is close.
ReplyDeleteReally glad I decided to call it a day it has taken it out of me. I was standing at the bus station ready to go to inverness when a car pulled up and it was the people from the last b&b recognised me and asked if I was going to Inverness. They gave me a lift to our hotel which I thought was very kind of them. Even the hotel let me book in really early as no had used the room so I have been able to rest for the day. Hope I will feel better soon. Sue.
